Team Lead Pedal hit it out of the park this year raising over $660 for Special Olympics Truck Ride 2024. The event raised $110,000 in total bringing them over the million dollar mark for the 20 years the Ontario Chapter has been in existence.
How Did We Do This?
First we held trivia nights each Monday for Truck Ride and our other charity Trucking for a Cure. Through the trivia nights alone we were able to rise $360.00.
Our friends at DriverCheck not only sponsor our trivia night radio show but added $100 to the Mount raised and even attended the event. Thanks DriverCheck for stepping up to the plate in so many ways. We appreciate your support.
Rims Transport has been a great sponsor of our shows each year and even represented Team Lead Pedal last year as our official truck. This year they added an additional $200 to the total bringing us up to $663.00 in total for the convoy. Thank you Rims Transport.
Out of that $663.00 raised, $100 is used to register the driver for Team Lead Pedal. Ontario Truck Driving School was our official truck in the convoy and they added their one truck as well. Thank you Ontario Truck Driving School.
