Our theme is the road, but we are all about the fun! If you have been around Lead Pedal Media for some time you may understand our under lying theme for the radio station is the trucking industry and the road. I remember when I started the station a friend said there is only so much trucking music out there and general stations don’t want to play it. He may have been correct but that didn’t stop us from creating a radio station about the road. In fact there is quite a few trucking songs and music about the road so we haven’t run out of song material yet, but we wanted to do more!
The cool thing about an internet radio station is the fact that you can design the station with music we like. As sister station to The Lead Pedal Podcast for Truck Drivers we kept that theme but also implemented other genres that we love. My heritage is Caribbean and we travel there every year so our Tropical Daze Show was born and is one of our more popular shows.
I love the Oldies and have been brought up enjoying all kinds of music so our Oldies Show was a natural fit.
I also have a ton of friends that are Indie Musicians so the Indie Show on Fridays became a staple. In the past I have had a podcast interviewing various artists and so the In The Studio Show also helps those Indie artists.
