The first time I saw the Thompsons play they were the feature band at a Trucking for a Cure Event. This was a convoy celebrating the women in the industry and bringing awareness to breast cancer. They also had a family member in the trucking industry and have written a host of songs about the industry which includes Miles and Miles, Roll Trucker Roll, and Behind the Wheel.
This family band is well known in the trucking industry and is a fan favourite around the Southern Ontario area. This family is all about the music and love of performing. Watch for them featured on Lead Pedal Radio this month as the Band of the Month and in the future as good friends of the station.
