The Killin’ Time Band is our Preferred Band of the Month and are known from Canada to Mexico as a great party band. Their soulful music with an island feel is a great bridge from the northern life of Canada to the island life of Mexico. That’s what we love about the band. We first met the band while they were releasing their first album 3 Day Weekend celebrating Canadian Weekends in Northern Ontario. Over the years the music has moved to a more Southern feel with Killin’ Time Island and Rested Relaxed and Feeling Good along with other songs all have that reggae feel.
The relaxed feel of island life is popular on Lead Pedal Radio and when you add party songs like Pass The Rum it certainly brings a great vibe to an afternoon.
