What makes this chrome shop the best is not the location or the parts, but the team. I have known owner Brett Akey since 1990 when we first met as drivers for J. Syvret and Company in Burlington Ontario. We hit it off immediately with our passion for big trucks and chrome and the fun of trucking through the 90s. Eventually I moved off to another company but we always stayed friends and once I started being a regular at the truck shows Brett and the fleet were always front and center. In fact we talked about the passion of the industry in this first video we did when he first opened the chrome shop.
Wow that was seven years ago but the belief system is still the same today. We both believe in driver pride and that is why he is the best person to own a chrome shop. He doesn’t just sell truck parts but believes in quality, integrity, and pride of the industry.
The team is also of the same mindset and knows the shop and their customers like family. They have partnered with us for the last couple of years as the Featured Truck of the Year Sponsor. In 2024 we went on a shopping spree with manager Michelle for the winner.
