The Tropical Daze Duo is our Musicians of the Month for December 2025. The duo are long time friends of Lead Pedal Radio even before they began their music careers. Joey and I met back in high school through mutual friends and then as they moved through the music business I’ve been along supporting the ride.
As there brand developed I personally was involved behind the scenes producing things like logos, album covers, backdrops, and even their website.
Joey May and Dan Peer left the previous band and created the Tropical Daze Duo playing Jimmy Buffet style music along with their own originals. The duo stopped touring during the pandemic and due to health issues have stopped playing professionally.
The duo inspired our Tropical Daze Show on Sundays and we have used the same name in memory of this great duo. Thank you Dan and Joe for a great ride and we’ll continue the baton from here.
