We are happy to announce our new Preferred Artists for October 2026 on Lead Pedal Radio are Captain Matt and The Boat Crew. Captain Matt has a very interesting story of growing up in Texas, but having a love for the ocean. That drive to be near the water took him through time in the U.S. Navy where he learned to play guitar, commanding a boat from Florida back to Texas, and now writing music based on his love of the ocean.
Captain Matt has had an interesting life and never let the dream of music slip from his grips. The current of the ocean has led him on some crazy adventures bringing him to present day now writing songs through that tropical feel similar to Jimmy Buffett. Read Captain Matt’s story here: www.captainmattmusic.com
You will be hearing more from Captain Matt and the Boat Crew throughout our shows on Lead Pedal Radio especially on our Tropical Daze Show as their music and songs fit perfectly on that show. Welcome to the Lead Pedal Radio family Captain Matt and we look forward to more great music from you and the Boat Crew.
About Our Preferred Artists and Partners
Preferred Artists on Lead Pedal Radio are a unique part of the Lead Pedal Family. Their music fits with our station theme and many of the bands are local Indie artists. In addition to their music the partners and artists have helped Lead Pedal Radio develop in other ways such as advice, merchandise, jingles, and more. We appreciate everything they have done to help us succeed and we are doing our best to support them. Thank you for all you’ve done.
